Common questions

Everything you need to know about Pouchfi.

Getting Started

No. You deposit naira, your balance shows in USDT, you spend in naira. The crypto conversion happens automatically.

About 2 minutes. You'll need your email, phone number, and BVN or NIN for verification.

Money

Your balance is in USDT, which tracks the US dollar. If the naira strengthens against the dollar, your USDT buys fewer naira when you spend. This works both ways. Pouchfi protects against devaluation but doesn't guarantee gains.

Usually within minutes. Processing depends on the receiving bank.

Naira deposits via PalmPay are typically credited within minutes. Crypto deposits need 15 block confirmations on BSC (a few minutes). If it's been longer, contact support with your transaction reference.

You can withdraw USDT to any BSC wallet address globally. Bank transfers are Nigeria-only.

Virtual Card

Yes. It works anywhere Mastercard, Visa, or Verve is accepted, international and Nigerian.

Check that your card balance covers the purchase amount. Some merchants also place temporary holds that can exceed the transaction amount. Make sure your card isn't frozen.

Not currently. Pouchfi cards are virtual only.

Security

They can see your balance but can't move money. Every transaction requires a separate passcode that's not your password.

Log in from another device with your email and password. If you have 2FA enabled, use your recovery codes. Contact support if you're locked out.
